Here’s a little about me:
I’m a work at home mom utilizing a diverse skill set to generate multiple streams of income. I’m simply an average single mother of two passionate about helping people improve their quality of life.
I tried several jobs/careers in my life, none of which really fit my passion to help people or my desire to be home with my children. So I decided to start my own business. That’s where internet marketing and multi-level marketing and success coaching come in. In 2008 I had a career but was unhappy. I wanted some things that I didn’t have:
1. flexibility
2. stability
3. freedom
4. a vehicle to arm people with tools to improve their lives.
A friend’s Facebook status update about generating a residual income working from home while helping others was my first introduction to the multi-level marketing business model. I jumped right in and within weeks I was taking internet marketing, attraction marketing, and personal development courses which put me on course to building relationships with people who would eventually become business partners, mentors, and clients.
BUT not without struggle. I must say that I’ve tried my hand at many business opportunities: multi level marketing/
network marketing, search engine evaluation, affiliate marketing… each time doing well enough to eat and pay the bills for a while but eventually failed over and over and over again. In my first year in Network marketing and Internet Marketing, I made thousands more than the average rookie and I pretty much lost or wasted it all. On top wasting money, I wasted time, neglected family, friends, and my own passion for the arts of poetry and dance.
Like many people who fail in business, I spent a couple of years and several months embarrassed, ashamed and a bit depressed by my inability to focus long enough to achieve my desired outcome. Then one day the light bulb came on and I finally realized that failures in business are only a bad thing if we don’t learn anything or do anything about it. After some soul searching I realized that my biggest failure was not in losing money but in losing sight of my passion and vision.
Since making this revelation, I’ve grown to view my each business ventures in terms of how they relate to the vision and am building an abundant life for me and my daughters. I work hard to build and maintain my home based business without sacrificing anything. This goes completely against what most leaders will tell you but it works for me. It can only happen through, self education, commitment to personal growth, allowing myself the right to fail and giving myself permission to succeed (as I am) without having to become some ethereal out of this world type and simply tap into my natural God Given talents.
